| Adult volunteers are the lifeline of Girl Scouting. Hemlock Girl Scout Council depends on more than 4,800 volunteers in central Pennsylvania to help carry out every aspect of the Girl Scout program to girls of all age levels.
Girl Scout volunteers help shape the lives and futures of today’s girls by serving as role models, and sharing their knowledge, resources and experience.
In addition, Girl Scout volunteers can build real-life skills, like managing, organizing and public speaking, to benefit them both personally and professionally.
We offer flexible volunteer opportunities, both short- and long-term, to fit the busiest of schedules. Volunteers can serve in a number of ways:
- troop leader / assistant leader
