Welcome to an exciting summer with Hemlock Girl Scout Council! This year we have made some wonderful changes to our camp line-up. In this brochure you will read about the many different types of camping and program opportunities we have to offer during summer 2006. Please take time to read through it carefully taking note of all the exciting new changes and help your daughter/ward choose the program that best fits her interests. There are great programs for first-time campers and the most experienced camper. Summer 2006 is sure to be our best one yet.

Camp is a place where fond memories and new friendships are formed and where girls have exciting adventures. It provides opportunities for girls to learn new skills and gain new confidence and it challenges them to realize their potential.

Our camp programs provide fun, educational opportunities for girls entering 1st through 12th grade in the fall of 2006. Girls who graduate from high school in 2006 are welcome to attend a camp program for 12th graders or may consider applying for a staff position for the summer.

The program descriptions provide brief program information and possibilities of what the girls will do at camp. Once they arrive at camp, they will help plan the program to fit the interests of the group.

You and your family are invited to attend open houses at the camps. At the open house you will have an opportunity to tour the facilities, ask questions and meet some members of the staff. We will be there rain or shine!
